Large Wooden Gathering Basket

Wooden basket with bentwood handle. c.1900. Midwestern origin. Standing almost 12" high at the handle, this large basket measures 27" in length and 14" across. Sides stand 4" tall. This pine wooden basket is constructed with early wire nails. It is in excellent original condition and is offered in its original dry red paint. Size makes this basket a great center piece or the perfect piece for a cubpoard top.
