Merchant Desk

Pine counter top desk. 19th century. Midwest origin. This slant lid desk likely spent it's early years as a counter top desk for an enterprising merchant. Offered in its original blue paint, the desk stands 16" tall overall, 26" deep and 24" wide. The desk case is constructed using rabbet joints while the large interior drawers are dovetailed. The piece is square nailed throughout.
