Stack of 5 colorful wood blocks. Early 20th century. Originally intended to entertain children, these vividly painted dovetailed boxes are sought for their visually pleasing appearance. While still maintaining a playful attitude, the blocks also have a contemporary feel in both color and design. Starting on a bottom block measuring 5 1/2" square, the blocks stand near 24" tall when stacked.
