Cod Fish Weathervane

Handmade weathervane found in Kennebunkport, Maine. This folk art fish from the early 20th century captures the spirit of the Maine coast. Offered in its as found weathered condition, it is constructed of pine and zinc. A nail is used for its whisker. The weathervane measures 28" long and stands 10" tall overall on a contemporary iron stand.
