Circus Box

Paint decorated wood box. Mid century. Made of scrap wood and found objects, this colorful box once traveled with the circus. Its contents long gone shall ever remain a mystery. Decorated on all sides with either stars or stripes, the box measures a bit over 40" long and is 4 1/2" by 5" square. One end is finished with a hinged door. Besides its graphic appeal, the box's perfect size and form allows it to function as a whimsical shelf.
